SYNOPSIS:
Kasell is keen to leave his home town of Clareton and find
the anonymity he always longed for. The opportunity to do so arrives
when he is offered employment as a telephone based suicide counsellor
in Golden city. However, at the interview he discovers his job
description has changed and he will not be counselling over a
telephone as previously arranged. Instead he will be expected
to attend the scenes of prospective suicides and persuade the
person to re-consider.
On one such occasion he is called to an office tower where a disgruntled
army veteran is threatening to kill the Mayor's daughter. After
rescuing the mayor's daughter, Kasell becomes a media hero and
the toast of the Golden city elite. In the process he sees his
dream of anonymity disappear and the rescue of the mayor's daughter
used, along with other diversions, to dupe a gullible and desperate
populace into accepting the Mayor's corrupt agenda.
Although the Mayor's agenda is clear to Kasell, he has no desire
to warn or save anyone else. However the horrific murder of his
neighbour by agents of the mayor, changes his attitude and he
begins a campaign of revenge against the city.
SYNOPSIS: OURBOY
Through Our boy's eyes, an imposing city landscape is unleashed. Within this tragic and occasionaly magical urban vista, Our boy searches for an escape route to freedom. His endless searching leads down many avenues and ocasionally he loses his way. His failures however, increase his unshakeable determination to make his utopan dream a reality.
SYNOPSIS:
Jasel 's life as a meat trader is routine...until she sells a consignment of live humans to a new client. The business deal offers her financial security and an oppurtunity to leave the drudery of her job. However, she discovers that she has encroached upon the territory of a ruthless gangster and suddenly not only is her own life under threat, but more terrifyingly-life its self.
